The 2006-07 Prva HNL season (renamed Prva HNL Ožujsko for sponsorship reasons, Ožujsko being a popular brand of beer), the 16th since its establishment, started on July 29, 2006 and finished on May 19, 2007. On April 28, 2007, Dinamo Zagreb clinched the title of league champion with four matches left to play, ensuring qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
